N Scale Signals with LED's
These signals have LED's and are ready to hookup and install on your layout. They are made to order to match various prototypes. The signals shown below represent some of the most common signals but naturally not all that are possible. Model numbers have been assigned either for ordering or for reference when needing something customized. To order signals or ask any questions, please contact me here and let me know what you are interested in.

If you don't see a signal style you need below or see a signal in real life that you want, snap a photo of it and send it to me. I may have the parts to produce it. Custom weathering of your signals is also available.
About the Signals
D-Type signals are available in 1, 2 ,3 or 4 light heads and either with snow hoods (as shown) or with independent lens shades. Individual Green, Yellow, Red, and Lunar color LED's are available. Color positions can be arranged based on the prototype you are modeling.
Searchlight signals produce 3 independent colors: Green, Yellow or Red from one LED. Searchlight heads can be placed either in direct alignment (zero offset) with the mast, or offset to the left or right of the masts.
G-Type signals like the D's feature individual single color LED's. Shown here with Yellow (left), Green (right) over Red. The Yellow and Green can be changed to Green and Yellow based on the prototype you are modeling as I have seen them both ways. Lights and lens shades can be deleted and holes covered to model 2 or 1 color light G-Type heads.
All LED's are 3V to 12V DC. They are fabricated in a common anode (common + positive) configuration. In this configuration, each head has a common (+) wire and a (-) wire for each color. All my N Scale signals use 36AWG magnet wire. The Green, Yellow and Red LED's are each rated at 2mA, Lunar is rated at 20mA, and a tri-color searchlight LED is rated at 30mA. Common cathode (common - negative) signal wiring assembly is an option should your signal system require it. The LED's in the signals require resistors. A 1/4 watt 47K ohm resistor is included with your order for your testing but not attached to any wires since many signal driver boards already include current limiting resistors on them. I've found that resistor value to be comfrortable on the eyes yet bright, but not so bright that it unrealistically lights your sourounding scenery in lower light settngs. I've tested the LED's down 1/4 watt to 100 ohms but I find it way to intensly bright. Any questions feel free to contact me.
